From a young age, I have been guided by a common set of core values.  

Teamwork:  Collaboration is key to achieving goals.  My best teams have been composed of a diverse team with unique individual strengths, perspectives and skills.  These teams bring the most creative, innovative and successful solutions through their collective experience and visions.

Respect:  Treating everyone with dignity and fairness, recognizing the inherent worth of every individual.  Respect is the cornerstone of interactions, it guides us to listen actively, value diverse opinions and interact with one another with truth and support.

Ethics:  I have long committed to ethical behavior as a guiding light.  I hold myself accountable to doing what is right, even in challenging situations.  Transparency, honesty, and fairness is critical to everything that I do.

Excellence:  Excellence is a journey, not a destination.  Every step in the journey is a commitment to quality outcomes and continuous improvement.  I focus on achieving my work's highest standards, celebrating my successes, holding myself accountable for missteps, and learning from mistakes.  

I grew up in a military family which provided me the opportunity to live across the country from New Jersey to California, North Dakota to Texas, and a few in between.  Additionally, I had the unique opportunity to experience life in Germany and England in grade school and college.  I am passionate about meeting new people, learning about their culture and heritage, and exploring the wonders of our world.

Along the way, I have also enjoyed a 20-year career (part-time) in the wine industry.  I have helped others develop an appreciation of wine either through wine tasting, pairing foods and wine, or selecting wines to cellar and collect.

When not forging a path in the total rewards space, I dedicate my time to my family, faith, and community.  I can be found serving meals at a local community soup kitchen, volunteering my time to local charities, and serving as a local ambassador for prospective students and alumni of Miami University.
